You’ve decided to remodel your bathroom. Before you give your bathroom that much needed facelift, there are some things you need to know.
Before you do anything else, you need to figure out what your budget is and how much what you want will cost. Decide what you would like to change in your bathroom, the materials you would like to use, and whether or not you will be doing the work yourself. If you are going to hire someone to do it for you, they can probably give you an estimate on their labour and product costs together. You’ll also need to plan for unexpected costs. It’s a part of any house remodel. There’s always something that you didn’t expect or that ends up costing more than expecting. Be sure to leave room for the unexpected in your budget.
Consider designing your bathroom so that your toilet isn’t visible from outside of the bathroom. For one thing, no matter how nice your toilet is it will never be your most attractive piece of furniture. If the toilet is behind a wall, it blocks the view of the toilet whether anyone is using it or not.
